ADVOCACY ART EXHIBITION
parallel realities
Curated by the UN SDG Action Campaign for the Triennale Milano 24th International Exhibition Inequalities, Parallel Realities is an immersive digital pavilion exploring the divides that shape our world — and the actions that can bridge them. From exclusion to inclusion. From climate risk to climate action. From conflict to cooperation. From fear to hope.
Through the striking split-image collages of Turkish artist Uğur Gallenkuş, audiences confront the stark contrasts of our time — climate injustice and gender-based violence, forced displacement and social exclusion — while also discovering the stories of UN SDG Action Awards changemakers who are transforming hope into action: ending child marriage, protecting forests, and dismantling systems of inequality.
The journey culminates in a collective call to action, inviting audiences to join the UN ActNow campaign and take meaningful steps toward a more sustainable, equal, and hopeful future.
